Regional Agency for Development and European Integration Belgrade is organizing first regional stakeholder meeting on August 7th, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., as part of the international project WOMEX – The Role of Women in the Competitiveness of Exporting SMEs, supported by the European Union through the Interreg Europe programme.

The project aims to contribute, through interregional cooperation and the exchange of best practices, the improvement of business culture where gender equality and the competitiveness of exporting SMEs go hand to hand. Through policy improvement, project will support those SMEs, led or owned by women, in the development of policies, tools, and mechanisms that improve their access to finance, education, and digital technologies.

The aim of the meeting is to present the project's key activities, highlight the role of local and regional actors and provide space for joint discussion on how to improve public policies and business practices from a gender equality perspective.
